Product Description
The fundamental design of the FICEP Coping Robotic Systems all comes down to a Cartesian robot, which positions the torch to perform complex burning on all three planes of the structural steel. The capability of the six axis of the robot provides full bevelling capability on both sides of the flanges and the web without the need of any human/manual setup. The Cartesian robot takes the complex task of entering your desired job is made a whole lot easier by either downloading the routine from the CAD system or entering the task with its easy computer system.
The FICEP Coping Robotic System provides full single and compound mitre cuttingso the flange cuts accurately align with the web mitre angle. Full integration of drilling, coping, end preparation, cut off and so much more.
The Robot can be equipped with oxy-fuel and plasma torches to maximise the versatility and productivity. The integrated probing capability instinctively compensates for typical mill tolerances to provide accurate and reliable machine performance.
FICEP’s software removes the requirement for additional hardware that other machines require, such as third party axis control boards, PLC hardware and encoder switching boards.
Why Invest in a FICEP Coping Robotic Systems?
-
No time is lost in order to re-programme the shape.
-
All the manual operations that are required to measure, mark out and cut disappear;
-
Values are respected with no errors,
-
Cutting operations can be done in line with drilling units in order to save time;
-
The processing cycles and the manufacturing times are drastically reduced;
-
Processing is done in a complete automatic and tidy way;
-
The floor space which is dedicated to processing this type of solutions are dramatically reduced;
-
Production costs are lowered;
-
No skilled labour is required for complicated manual operations such as layout on the beam and manual cutting;
-
The carriage allows operations such as splitting, long inclined cuts for haunches generation, castelating, etc.. due to the capacity to accurately control the axe along the length of the bar.
-
Optimized nesting and melting of different pieces with common cuts is allowed for minimal material wastage.
-
Machine chassis consisting of four columns in electrowelded steel tubes to support the robot and precision rack and pinion linear guides to move the torch allow the highest repeatability and accuracy in these complicated cutting operations.
-
Semi-spherical Cartesian robot with 6 controlled axes holding the oxycutting and plasma torch is a guarantee of easy programming and control also at the workshop level.
-
Automatic vices to guarantee perfect material clamping even during cuts where the material moves longitudinally.
-
Hydraulic alignment device between the first two rolls of the in feed rollerway.
-
System for detection and automatic adjustment of dimensional tolerances.
-
The Ficep Minosse CNC is considered by our customers the easiest programming and user-friendly control unit on the market for beam coping and thermal cutting applications
-
Plasma cutting system with Hypertherm power source increases the cutting speeds and performances of the robotic cutting cell.
-
Automatic torch changer allows for minimum set up time when passing from oxitorch to plasma torch and vice versa.
-
No time is lost to re programme the shape.
-
All the manual operations to measure, mark out and cut disappear;
