FICEP ENTERPRISE DJ four spindle beam drilling machines are optionally equipped with automatic tool-changer on each head and, thanks to the complete "closed loop" electronic control, in addition to drilling they can also carry out milling, tapping, countersinking and scribing in order to mark material with part numbering or layout marking for welding and fit up purposes.
The drilling heads are equipped with the DJ spindle for high performances in deep drilling and standard drilling. FICEP beam girder drill machines can be combined with plasma or oxy robotic thermal cutting units (DJTT) to automatically cut shapes such as coping or flange thinning, ratholes, weld prepping, splitting in the section or simply straight cut to cut off the welding trim cuts which are impossible by using a sawing unit.

FICEP ENTERPRISE DJ drilling heads have been designed for the heaviest of the drilling applications such as very hard material, very deep drilling or very large holes.
In this application of very wide beam girders the use of the double drill head for the web enhances dramatically productivity of web patterns with or without camber.
